i have literally spent my weekend working on homework. {& sewing} but mostly homework. my brain feels so fried. most of the time i spent working on my paper consisted of me talking to myself, patting my head (weird, right) and rocking back and forth, all at the same time. that is me when it is crunch time, always.
well, a point came where i either had a mental breakdown or cried or freaked out...
I had a "paper" and no thesis (always my problem with writing)
sooooo as I was surfing the web when i came to Dash it All and saw her "Workout Wednesdays", inspiration hit!
BAM it was so clear, turn on some rump shaking music and dance my way to a thesis statement. After a good hour of shaking my groove thang to a sweet Girl Talk mix, I hit the keyboard. i had a thesis statement! in fact I went from only having 400 words to 2000. it needed to be no more than 900 words.
(as for the dancing... i got all my classic white girl dance moves in. these moves have been known to get me dates.true story. but i do have to wonder how attractive it really was as i shook it like a salt shaker while eating a bell pepper, like it was an apple. i could ask the neighbor who saw me through his window... but that would be weird. for him, not me.)
moral of the story, dance the writers block away.
ps. enjoy workout wednesdays!
question:
is this justin bieber? is it sad that i don't really know what he sings? although i think it might be important to pick up his book on life. you can learn a lot from a 14 year old boy on life and love....

lady!!! i am so honored to be on your bloggety blog! Hip hop music always helps my mind to flow while doing homework. There's something really satisfying about typing in time to the music too! Weird...but effective. Whats your thesis on?
